Estonia

According to the statistics, Estonia is the country with the largest number of museums per capita. For example, in medieval Tallinn, you can find many museums (Tallinn City Museum, Estonian Museum of Applied Art and Design, Estonian Health Museum etc.). Also the Kumu Art Museum is worth visiting, while nearby in the old harbor area are the Maritime Museum, and Seaplane Harbour – both museums have been recognized with numerous prizes. Several other museums have been renovated recently – the Estonian History Museum, the Estonian Open Air Museum, the Kalamaja Museum, also the privately owned Arvo Pärt Centre, and the Vabamu Museum of Occupations and Freedom.
